TEACHING METHODOLOGY

This is a three phase short course which runs in April, August, and December every year.

Applicants for this training programme must have a professional qualification in the field in which they are going to teach upon completion of the course.

PHASE 1: SUBJECTS COVERED

 Introduction to Educational Sociology

 Introduction to Teaching Methodology

 Effective Communication

 Education Technology

 Internal Teaching Practice

DURATION: 3 Weeks

PHASE 2: TEACHING PRACTICE

External Teaching practice takes a period of three months.

The candidate chooses an institution for their Teaching practice.

The Lecturers from TVTC will visit and observe the trainee during the Teaching Practice.
